Tamara Rice is a lover of words and Jesus and family, though perhaps not in that order. She is the editor of over forty books, contributing writer to two books and two Bibles, author of three film-based discussion guides, and a former magazine editor and book reviewer who sometimes blogs. She’s also known to speak loudly about breast cancer, sexual abuse and mental health issues—having lived with and through all of the above.
She prides herself on being in touch with The Realist inside, but is trying to make more room for The One Who Reaches (for hope, the thing with feathers). The Realist is known to be raw, a little cynical (not always a bad thing), and able to weep with those who weep. And sometimes she deserves to be heard. However, lately, Tam’s been letting The One Who Reaches have her say, and “Hope Fully Known” is the result of that voice: a conversation between The One Who Reaches and The Realist inside.
In her off hours, Tam tweets #StuffGoodEditorsSay, because over the years she’s had to say a lot of stuff. (And The Realist just can’t keep these things in forever.)
